The autumn storms and northerly swells from the start of the month now seem like an age ago. South or south westerly winds bringing calm seas seem to be dominating the weather at the moment and this means the chances of catching codling are few and far between. Glenn Kilpatrick won this match with 20 whitings for 12 pounds 12 ounces. Brian Harland caught 5 whiting and a flounder to take third place with 3 pounds 15 ounces. In third place was Mike Breckon with 5 whitings for 3 pounds 13 ounces.
