Fishing for Shark at Whitby on Malcolm Pitman's sea spray charters - Whitby shark fishing.
Ive had Malcolm Pitman the skipper of sea spray on the phone tonight and he informs me that they have had a Porbagle shark on the boat today. Malcolm told me to keep it quiet untill the lads on the boat have published the story but it appears from viewing the forums tonight that the news is already out before they have even got home.
The lads, members of save our sharks and anglers net forums have been in whitby shark fishing with malcolm all week and thought that they had drawn a blank but today turned out to be the day with 1Whitby porbeagle shark landed severel more snapping the line and 6 missed Whitby tope runs.
As soon as I have the pictures and have published them to Malcolms website I will place them here within this blog.
Looks like Whitby is now getting a reputation for big shark fishing. I might have to tie a couple of 50 o pennel rigs and head on out.
