The winter fishing season draws ever nearer. The local fishing club starts a week on Wednesday and I'm raring to go. Just spent a couple of hours tieing cod rigs, making rotten bottoms and generally preparing my gear. The reels look like they require a bit of a service and that is a job for the coming days. With a bit of a south easterly swell running I think I might head out tonight and use up a few peelers. Fingers crossed for a few codling from the rocks.
