Crab Bye law thrown out

I have been speaking to Nigel Procter, the angling rep on the local NESFC, in the fleece at tea time and he was pleased to tell me that the part of the bye law regarding the collection of crabs by anglers from the shore has been removed from the bye law. Nigel who is in Whitby with some friends fishing for shark and tope aboard Malcolm Pitman's boat sea spray said he was pleased with the outcome of yestrdays meeting with nesfc.

I guess this just goes to show how much people like Nigel do on our behalves without us ever knowing. If we didnt have such people on the sea fisheries committees bye laws such as these could easily pass unoticed by anglers untill we get our collar felt for collecting or beloved peelers.
